What We Do All Day Long

Aaron plays ball all day long.

This particular ball stays with Aaron while he eats at his highchair, takes a ride in the van, and even while he's sitting on the can. As you can see here, he loves to yell "Yeah!" about anything that's going his way. =)

Zoe is still giving out smiles like she's made of sugar.

And she's working on getting her back and neck muscles strong like her big brother's. We found out a couple things at Zoe's four month check up. First of all, this baby girl is in the 75th percentile weight-wise!! She loves her milk! Second, we found out she has Positional Plagiocephaly. All this means is that her soft little skull is not becoming round, but staying flat, and becoming flatter. It's starting to push one side of her forehead forward. After doing further research and speaking with others, it seems fairly common and easy to treat since the pediatrician caught it so early. Friday, we'll go for an Orthotic/Prosthetic appointment and see about getting a Cranial Remolding Helmet for her head. We'll find out more details on Friday, but it sounds like she'd wear it for up to a year or so, while her moldable skull is still soft, in order to round out her head. We'll have a much better idea of what we're dealing with after her appointment on Friday. Updates on this to come.

Zoe is soooo cute. I just sit a giggle when I see her sitting in that little seat. I just want to get my hands on her. You know God has reasons for everything... the helment is probably to get her ready for football practice with Aarom in the future! Goodness Sarah - you have got yourself a little angel!
