Just the Two of Us

Brian and I had a coupon for a free 8 x 10 at The Picture People so one of the things we did on datenight this week was get our pictures done as a couple. No kids squirming and crying in the background made for a lovely experience! Here are some proofs. "Couple Pictures" may not happen again for a very long time, so we thought we should go ahead while we had the chance! =)

Zoe got her 9 month pictures done yesterday. The session could not have gone any smoother and she did whatever they wanted her to do...all smiles included!

I'm crawling around the house these days. Mama keeps on forgetting that fact and finds me in the strangest of places, chewing on the strangest of items.

Lately

Daddy was a sucker when he took me to Publix, and so that's why I'm holding this Elmo balloon.


Lately, Brian and I have started having 15 minutes of something I call "couch time". Basically, after the kids go to bed, we sit on the couch and talk or just rest for 15 minutes, and then we go on with what's left of our evening. So far, it has been wonderful (as my love language is quality time)! Well, last night, Brian told me we were having couch time somewhere other than the couch this time, and he took me out back where I saw this. We shared a blanket while he sipped on coffee (I only love the smell), and talked for more than the 15 minutes agreed on. He definitely found the romance on that one!!! =)

I am starting to stand up holding onto things for short periods of time. My crawling has gotten very busy. I'm into everything now, especially Daddy's commentaries on the bookshelf!
